CHENEY MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION

Description

The Cheney Merchant’s Association is sponsored by Pathways to Progress as part of our long term commitment to improving the strength of our community’s economic health. The Pathways board identified the need for a merchant’s association in 2007. In 2008, Pathways provided guidance for the formation of the incorporating board of directors. This included: drafting by-laws, a vision statement, and a mission statement. Pathways has some oversight to ensure the organization fits within the Pathways mission.

The Cheney Merchants Association shall strive to make significant advances in community cohesion, business development, success and prosperity, all while enhancing civic pride of both businesses and residents.  They will create a communication tool through which all businesses, organizations and community members can be made aware of all events, activities and programs on an ongoing basis. 

The Cheney Merchants Association provides a unified voice for businesses in Cheney, providing this unique perspective to the City, other institutions and organizations.
